Delete your account
Two ways to do it. Both remove the same things.
From inside the app
This is the fastest route and needs nothing from us.
- Open Ascendia and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Ascendia will show you what is about to be removed before anything happens.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, write to support@ascendia.day from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We reply within a few days and may ask one question to confirm the account is yours — we will never ask for your password.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to you, across every part of the service:
- Your account, sign-in details and sessions
- Plans, tasks, goals and calendar entries Ascendia created or you wrote
- Training history, workouts and programmes
- Food and nutrition logs, sleep and body measurements
- Notes, saved references and anything Ascendia learned about you
- Your conversations with Cognito
- Financial entries you recorded in the app
- Devices registered for notifications
How long it takes
Deletion begins immediately and your data stops being reachable at once. Copies inside encrypted backups age out on their own within 30 days; we do not restore individual records from them.
What we keep, and why
A minimal, anonymous record of purchases — no name, no email, no content — because tax and consumer-protection law requires a business to be able to account for transactions. It cannot be used to reconstruct who you were or what you did in the app.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Billing is handled by Google Play, and only Google can stop a renewal. Cancel in the Play Store first — Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ascendia → Cancel — then delete the account. Ascendia will remind you of this before you confirm.
Export first, if you want it
You can ask for a copy of your data before deleting. Email support@ascendia.day and we will send a machine-readable export. Deletion is permanent — we cannot bring an account back once it is gone.
