Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the consumer health data of people covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar US state laws. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

We use consumer health data only to provide the features you request, keep the Service secure and understand how features are used. We do not sell consumer health data or use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share consumer health data with our cloud hosting provider; with third-party AI service providers (such as Google, OpenAI or Anthropic) when you ask Cognito a question or request a meal estimate; and with the people you choose to share with in Together. If you agree to product analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase receives usage events, but not health screen views or health-specific details. No affiliate receives consumer health data. We collect and share consumer health data with your consent, given in the app, or as necessary to provide a feature you request. You can withdraw consent in Settings → Privacy.

Location

The app may use your location while it is open for weather and nearby suggestions. We do not keep a location history or use geofences around health-care facilities.

Your rights

You may confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data; access it, including a list of the third parties that received it; withdraw your consent; and have it deleted. Use Settings → Export or delete in the app, the web deletion page, or email support@ascendia.day with the subject “Health data request”. We may verify your identity. We respond within 45 days, which may be extended as the law allows. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Health data appeal”. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Changes

We publish any change here with its date. We will ask for your consent before collecting or sharing consumer health data for a new purpose that requires it.
